🌀 What is Toalha? “Toalha” (Portuguese for “towel”) is a flowing Zouk technique where the leader creates a towel-like motion around the follower’s head and shoulders, setting up fluid pathways into rotations. It’s a signature movement that feels both playful and elegant, and often connects seamlessly into spins.
💫 Why Spins? Spins are at the heart of Brazilian Zouk, adding dynamic flair, musicality, and partner connection. They challenge balance, timing, and styling — and when combined with Toalha, open up endless creative possibilities on the dance floor.
