Transitions and Exits for Head Movements explores the biomechanics and structural principles behind initiating, redirecting, and resolving head movements within Zouk flow. This class focuses on precise timing, axis management, and the controlled transfer of energy through torsion, counterbalance, and head isolation. Dancers will refine how to modulate connection through the frame to create smooth transitions and exits that maintain partner safety, continuity, and musical phrasing. Through focused drills and guided partner work, participants will deepen their understanding of how to integrate head movements seamlessly into complex sequences while preserving clarity, elasticity, and dynamic control.
